This is our Peaty and Smoky Islay Scotch Whisky Tasting Gift Set featuring five fabulous malts designed to showcase the styles of each of the Distilleries: Bruichladdich, Caol Ila and Penderyn (Wales) plus a vatted malt and a premium blend. Ideal for lovers of Strong Peaty & Smoky Malts, this gift set includes several whiskies from the iconic island of Islay - including 2010 World Whisky Award Winner Big Peat (from Douglas Laing) and a limited edition Silver medal winner winner, Caol Ila aged 14 years . The set also includes Penderyn's Peated Single Malt from the Welsh Whisky Company - itself matured in ex-Islay whisky casks, and Bruichladdich's 17 year old from Islay part-matured in a Rum cask. Last but my no means least, Peaty Creag - a marriage of Islay and Skye whiskies - from the peerless multi-award-winning Tanners Wines. Total 30ml.
Tasting cards give detailed information on each whisky and are presented in a neat pocket-envelope which may be kept as a keepsake.
