It's said that Hank Marvin bought his Stratocaster by mistake, when he was really expecting a Telecaster. Bruce Springsteen played one at Glastonbury 2009, as did Quo's Parfitt/Rossi duo.
Originally known as the Broadcaster and also as the Esquire, the Fender Telecaster is known for its bright forward sound and was the first mass-produced solid-bodied electric guitar. Perhaps the most famous recording of a Telecaster is Jimmy's Page's lead solo on Stairway To Heaven, as attempted by countless thousands of would-be guitarists, although Zeppelin fans will know that played live, he used the Double Neck, to allow for the rapid change from 6-string to 12-string guitar needed on stage. We also have that guitar here.
The Baby Axe miniature replica guitars represent the pinnacle of ornamental design with each one lovingly recreated by people who love music. These are the real deal and not some cheap replica.
The guitars measure around 10" and are supplied with a simulated aluminium flight case and mini stand for dispay purposes.
